The Abrafaxe are the heroes of the monthly comic magazine MOSAIK. They consist of the three goblin-like figures Abrax, Brabax and Califax, who go on adventures in world history in the course of extensive frame stories. Since issue 200, they have had a rat as a companion. The Abrafaxe are the creations of Lothar Dräger and Lona Rietschel. They replaced the Digedags, previously represented in Mosaik, in 1976. The Abrafaxe are in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest serialized comic in the world.
