Storyline:

Based on the children book by Klaus Baumgart.
Having moved to a new town, the seven-year-old Laura is finding it difficult to make friends. One day she finds a star which has fallen from the sky. She lovingly mends the little star’s leg with a plaster, and so begins a marvellous friendship. Laura realises though that the star is fading away on earth. For the love of it she has to let the star go back into the sky. She manages the difficult separation from the little star with help from the neighbour’s boy Max, around whom she is initially very shy. In him she finds a new friend.
